Chesapeake Energy Reaches $6.00 For First Time In A Month

Chesapeake Energy CHK shares are trading higher by $0.15 at $5.96 in Thursday's session. The recent rally in Crude Oil along with a positive mention from Jim Cramer On CNBC has the stock trading higher for the third day in a row.

Over this time period, it has added nearly $1.00 from its March 27 low ($5.06) to $6.00 earlier in today's session. The current high comes in just ahead of four consecutive highs in the issue from February 17-23, in the $6.08-$6.18 range.

Chesapeake's stock is attempting to post its first close over $6.00 since February 21, when it ended that session at $6.08.
