Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD shares are trading higher by $0.18 (1.2 percent) at $14.18 in Wednesday's session. This is on top of its $0.87 move from Tuesday.
Over the last three sessions (including today), it has rallied from $12.97 to $14.50. On Tuesday, it was reported AMD's new Ryzen processors will begin shipping next week.
After a higher open, the stock sprinted to $14.50 before reversing course. That marks the highest level for the issue since October 2007, when it peaked at $14.73.
Since making that high, it has been drifting lower towards Tuesday 's close of $14.00 as $14.12 stands as the current low for the day as of 10:17 a.m. ET.
