VF Corp Higher After Mixed Q4 Report

VF Corp VF shares are trading higher by $1.68 (3 percent) at $52.05 in Friday's session. The Street is reacting positively to its mixed Q4 report that revealed inline EPS at $0.97, but came up shy on sales by $140 million.

In a volatile first minute of the session, the issue surrendered all of its gain from the higher open but eventually found support just above Thursday's low ($50.15), when it bottomed at $50.34.

From there, VF Corp mounted another rally that has taken the issue to $52.25, which coincides with its January 27 high of $52.15. It has backed off and is attempting to remain in the $52.00 handle.

If it can end the session above $52.00, it will be the first since since January 26, when it ended that day at $52.01.
