Visa Inc V shares are trading higher by $4.14 at $86.44 in Friday's session.
After Thursday's close, the company announced Q1 earnings that revealed a GAAP EPS of $0.86 that didn't compare to $0.78 estimates. Sales came in above Wall Street estimates of $4.29 billion at $4.5 billion. The company forecasts FY2017 sales growth to be in the 16-18 percent range.
After opening well above its former all-time high of $84.27, it bottomed within the first few minutes of the session at $85.11 and continued on its move higher.
So far, the ensuing rally reached $86.82 and the issue has fallen back into the mid-$86 handle.
