Staples, Inc. SPLS shares are unchanged at $8.98 in Thursday's session. Before the open, the company reported an inline Q3 report for EPS, but with a slight miss for revenues. The company reduced its Q4 EPS guidance from estimates of $0.27-$0.23 to the $0.26 range.
So far, the issue has traded just outside of the top and bottom of its range from Wednesday. On the upside, it peaked just about the top of Wednesday's range ($9.14) at $9.17. On the downside, it has found buyers one penny under Wednesday's low ($8.77) at $8.76.
The issue is attempting to post its first close over $9.00 since August 16, when it ended the session at $9.33.
