S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by three points at 2040.50 in Wednesday's session. In one of the most volatile sessions in weeks, the index traded up to 2057.75 before crashing down to 2030.75 and staging a rebound. The current low coincides with its May 6 low (2030.50). It should noted that was the day of the April jobs report.

The top 10 components of the index are mixed with five up and five down. Leading the way on the upside are JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM shares, which are getting a boost from the hint of interest rate hike in June and higher by $2.46 at $64.12.

The top loser is General Electric Company GE shares, which are trading lower by $0.17 at $29.54.
