S&P 500 Index Futures Lower

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 21 points at 1831 in Tuesday's session. Off the open, it immediately found support at 1825.75 and began to move higher. The ensuing rally went beyond Monday's close (1852), peaking at 1856.75.

All of the top ten components of the index are in the red.

Leading the way on the downside is Exxon Mobil XOM shares, which are trading lower by $2.21 at $78.95. It followed by Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN shares, which are trading lower by $12 at $476.10.
