Dicks's Sporting Goods Lower After Q3 Miss And Lower Guidance

Dick's Sporting Goods DKS shares are trading lower by $4 at $36.71 in Tuesday's session. The reason for the sharp decline is a Q3 EPS miss of $0.02 with slightly lower sales. Also, the company slashed Q4 and RY 2015 guidance. After a lower open, it continued in that direction before bottoming at $33.42. That marks the lowest level for the issue since it reached $32.42 in January 2012. Since making the low, it has rebounded to $37.22, before falling back under $37.
