Starbucks Brews Up New All-Time Highs

shares were trading higher by $2.25 (4 percent) at $51.68 in Friday's session. On Thursday, the company reported in-line earnings with better-than-expected revenue. In addition, the company guided a bit higher Q3 ($0.40-$0.41 from estimates of $0.40). The issue made a new all-time high on Thursday at $49.70 before falling back to settle at $49.43. After a higher open of nearly $2 ($51.32), it retreated to $50.62 before resuming its rally. So far, it reached $51.94 before retreating to its current level. It should be noted today's rally is taking place on heavier than its 20-day average volume of 7.75 million shares, as it's already traded 11.7 million shares with four hours remaining in the session.
