Apple Inc. AAPL, LinkedIn Corp LNKD, Facebook Inc FB, the list goes on. Most major "mo-mo" tech stocks are getting killed in the first week of February.
On Monday, names like Facebook, Tesla and Twitter Inc TWTR are down more than 5 percent. Why? Jim Cramer recently discussed the sell-off on CNBC.
"They've taken apart these oil companies, they're parched the commodities stocks, they've obliterated the pharmaceuticals, they've pummeled the retailers...and now it's high growth tech's turn to be pulverized."
Cramer said he likes Apple, adding: "Don't trade it, own it." Walt Disney Co DIS investors should weather the pain, Cramer explained, before touching on Yelp Inc YELP, which is stuck in a "World War I-like no man's land."
Unless Twitter growth surprisingly reaccelerates or "puts itself up for sale," meanwhile, Cramer said he doesn't see "how it can go higher."
