On September 26, Life Partners announced that Travis County District Judge Stephen Yelenosky ruled that the life settlement transactions that it facilitates are not securities under Texas law.

Life Partners Holdings closed at $2.59 on Friday.

Delcath Systems

Shares of Delcath Systems (NASDAQ: DCTH), the New York City pharmaceutical company focused primarily on treatments for liver cancer, rose 13.74% Friday on 4 times average volume.

Delcath is waiting for FDA acceptance of its New Drug Application for CHEMOSAT, which targets unresectable metastatic cutaneous and ocular melanomas of the liver.

Delcath Systems closed at $2.07 on Friday.

Ur-Energy

Ur-Energy (NYSE: URG), the Littleton, CO junior mining company, rose 6.32% Friday on almost twice average volume.

Ur-Energy announced Friday the receipt of the Record of Decision (ROD) from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approving the Plan of Operations for the Company's Lost Creek uranium in-situ recovery (ISR) project in Wyoming, USA. The ROD represents the final regulatory step needed by the Company to initiate construction and production operations at the project site.

Ur-Energy closed at $1.01 on Friday.
