Net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2012 was $3.2 million or $0.30 per diluted share, up 83% from $1.7 million or $0.17 per diluted share for the same period of fiscal 2011. Key Tronic Corporation International closed at $8.95 on Wednesday. LiveDeal Shares of LiveDeal LIVE, the Las Vegas, NV customer acquisition company, rose 21% Wednesday on 1.5 times the average daily volume. On Monday, Live Deal announced it had raised $2 million in equity from Isaac Capital Group, which demonstrated its compliance with NASDAQ's minimum stockholders' equity requirement of $2.5 million. The transaction closed on December 12, 2011. LiveDeal closed at $5.33 on Wednesday. Quantum Fuel Systems Shares of Quantum Fuel Systems QTWW, the Irvine, CA alternative energy company, rose 22% Wednesday on 7 times the average daily volume. Quantum announced Tuesday it had received new purchase orders totaling $750,000 for its ultra light weight composite high pressure compressed natural gas storage tanks for applications in heavy duty and light duty fleet vehicles. Quantum Fuel Systems closed at $0.94 on Wednesday.
