Below are highlights from Benzinga's daily coverage of microcap securities making big moves: BioDelivery Sciences International Shares of BioDelivery Sciences International BDSI, the Raleigh, NC specialty pharmaceutical company, rose 120% Friday on 17 times the average daily volume. BioDelivery Sciences announced Friday, the signing of a worldwide license and development agreement with Endo Pharmaceuticals ENDP for the exclusive rights to develop and commercialize BEMA Buprenorphine for the treatment of chronic pain. BEMA Buprenorphine utilizes BDSI's patented and proven BioErodible MucoAdhesive technology to deliver the opioid analgesic buprenorphine. In aggregate, the agreement is worth up to $180 million to BDSI if all milestones are met, which includes an upfront payment of $30 million, as well as intellectual property, development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments. Additionally, BDSI will receive a tiered mid to upper teen royalty on U.S. net sales of BEMA Buprenorphine. BioDelivery Sciences shares traded Friday in a range of $1.71 to $2.05 and closed at $1.85. Cannabis Science Shares of Cannabis Science (CBIS), the Denver, CO pharmaceutical company, developing products from one or more of the cannabinoid compounds found in the whole cannabis plant, rose over 36% Thursday on 20 million shares. The company provided an update on treatment being received by two patients for Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer and Skin Cancer and said the results will be released once treatment is completed. Cannabis Science shares traded closed at $0.02 on Friday. China Armco Metals Shares of China Armco Metals CNAM, the San Mateo, CA distributor of metal ore and non-ferrous metals, rose 40% Friday on 6 times the average daily volume. China Armco Metals provided an update Thursday on its trading business. By December 31, 2011, China Armco had secured and shipped three orders to deliver chrome ore to trading firms serving iron and steel producers in China. The orders included a combined volume of 24,000 tons with an aggregate value of approximately $3.89 million. 2 additional shipments of a combined volume of 8,000 tons with an aggregate value of approximately $1.72 million are to be delivered by the end of the first quarter of 2012. China Armco Metals shares traded Friday in a range of $0.31 to $0.44, closing at $0.42.
