Traders' Schedule For CES Today

Find your tickered-and-tradeable CES schedule here! The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) gets underway in Las Vegas today with a slate of events and news conferences. The buzz is already generating plenty of content about the year's likely showstoppers. Several companies are expected to roll out tablets this year, including Toshiba and Asus. Important notes: Keynote address is Microsoft's MSFT president and CEO Gary Shapiro. This year there is no dominant theme- much more about evolution of existing products. Last year 3D TV was the flashy show-stopper, but this year several products are anticipated to share the spotlight. Tablets will be the big ticket item, but also new smart phones, 3-d TVs, and connected TVs. Tablets are the closest thing to a trend item at this years show, as several companies will be debuting tablets, such as Asus and Toshiba. Asus and Toshiba will most likely unveil three models: one for Android, one for Windows 7, and one using Google's Chrome. 120,000 people are predicted to come to the show, with some 2,500 exhibitors expected.
