5. The ISM-Chicago index fell to 62.2 in March from 64 in Feb., when it hit a 10-month high, as subindexes for employment and new orders showed steep drops. A production gauge rose to the highest in nearly a year, and a prices paid measure climbed. ISM's manufacturing survey is due Mon. as lower readings from Fed branches in Dallas, Richmond and K.C. point to a moderating trend.
