Weather predictions are always hit or miss, and more often than not, a giant miss. Thankfully for many, Alphabet Inc GOOG GOOGL and its Google unit are looking to fix this major pet peeve.
According to Android Police, Google Now's new weather card has "gotten slightly better" over the past month and boasts new features including detailed forecasts as well as wind and precipitation graphs.
Android Police noted that the graphs are divided by hour and include the current day. The app can also display detailed wind direction and speeds and the expected volume of rain.
As noted by 9 To 5 Google, the update is on Google's side, so users don't need to do anything on their end to see the new features.
Shares of Alphabet were trading lower by around 1 percent early Thursday afternoon at $690.60.
