Facebook "Likes" Positive Feelings, "Dislikes" Evil Scams

While Facebook recently revealed its true feelings for Google (NASDAQ: GOOG), the company is determined to avoid officially “Disliking” anything. Thus, you will not see a “Dislike” button appear on the social networking site anytime soon.

You may, however, come across a rotten scam that offers users the chance to enable a “Dislike” button. But as Mashable points out, it is not really a button at all. Rather, this scam asks users to copy and paste a Javascript code into the address bar, which will activate a malicious code.

So the next time you want to tell your friends you dislike something, simply go through the trouble of manually typing the words, “I don't like this.” It may not be as quick or as cool as clicking a button, but it's a heck of a lot better than an expensive PC repair.
