Every Morning Upon Waking, Write Down At Least Three Things For Which You Are Thankful

Not enough people know the importance of writing things down and what it can do to help them set and achieve goals. But writing things down that you are thankful for is particularly uncommon because people either think it doesn’t influence forward progression or they simply don’t think to do it. But writing things down that you’re thankful for every day helps you establish a positive, winning attitude. It puts you in the right state of mind for the day and generates a spirit of optimism that is beneficial in overcoming the inevitable obstacles that pop up on the road to success.

Put Some Money Toward Something That Will Work Toward Achieving Your Dream

We all work to have money to be able to buy nice things, pay our bills, and enjoy our favorite recreational activities. But one of the most important things you can do in working toward success is to spend at least as much on personal development and/or on the growth of your dream as you do on other things. Be careful, though, because there is a fine line between spending on personal development and spending on things to boost your image and impress others. But allocate an amount of money daily, however large or small, on something that will bring your dream closer to reality, especially if that something is putting money away into savings.

The most successful people in the world almost exclusively will tell you that taking care of your body and mind is one of the most important things you can do in pursuing your dreams. Daily exercise and eating a healthy diet make up the foundation of a successful lifestyle and they help stimulate a positive mindset and high energy levels.

Avoid Negative People

They’re out there and they’re not going away. You know who they are – the people who are constantly negative and never have anything good to say about ANYTHING. These people suck the lifeforce out of the rest of us, particularly those who are working toward something big. It’s been said that you are the company you keep so work to establish a sphere of influence that breeds positivity and an upbeat worldview rather than the opposite.

Share Your Goals and Dreams

Tell someone about your plans and the things you want to accomplish in your life. Share your goals and aspirations with the people closest to you; the people you trust the most. Doing so increase the level of accountability on your part to motivate you to continue to work toward accomplishing that which you’ve said you want to accomplish.
