Shutterstock's 11 Best Disaster Images - Just In Case

With more than 25 million stock photos, illustrations, vectors and videos, Shutterstock SSTK is one of the world's largest marketplaces for digital imagery. The site is dedicated to providing as many images (for as many scenarios) as possible. While many of them are good, some can get a little extreme. How extreme, you ask? Suppose a man -- a farmer, if you will -- left a trail of self-lighting light bulbs in a field that was being ravaged by a tornado. Under normal circumstances, reporters would have to send a camera crew to the scene or rely on cell phone camera images and eye witness testimony for their resulting story. Thanks to Shutterstock, that is no longer necessary.
