Baidu's DU Recorder Surpasses 35 Million Users, a Significant Increase since Its Launch Last Year

Screen Recording App Supports Facebook, YouTube and Twitch Live Streaming

Baidu, Inc. BIDU, the leading Chinese language Internet search provider, today announced that its smartphone screen recording app DU Recorder has surpassed 35 million users worldwide. In addition to reaching this milestone, DU Recorder has also launched an iOS version of the app.

In celebration of this milestone, the DU Recorder team has shared the following facts and figures about the app's growth and usage:

• Every day, over 2 million videos are recorded on DU Recorder worldwide.
• Twenty-seven percent of videos shared by DU Recorder users are shared on YouTube, and 20 percent are shared on WhatsApp. The rest are shared across a variety of different platforms and services.
• 70,000 YouTube live streamers regularly use DU Recorder to stream games, broadcasting nearly 40,000 live streams every day.
• DU Recorder's top markets are India, Brazil, Indonesia and the U.S.

DU Recorder has grown by leaps and bounds since its initial launch in September 2016. It now supports live streaming to Facebook, YouTube and Twitch. DU Recorder is currently ranked No.1 on the U.S. Google Play store in the "Free Video Players & Editors" category.
