Premium Inspection and Testing, Inc. ("Premium") today announced that John Durkee is joining the company as Chief Executive Officer. John joins Premium with over 25 years of global leadership experience in the energy sector, most recently providing engineered products and services to the industrial and power generation markets. Before joining Premium Inspection & Testing, he was President of the Products business unit of Global Power. In this role, John managed ten global locations responsible for the engineering and manufacturing of auxiliary products used in construction and rebuild of power plants. Previous to Global Power, he led the North American Power and Industrial Engineering and Construction Services business of SNC Lavalin. Prior thereto, he was President of Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services where he oversaw and implemented strategic and tactical growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, John spent 15 years in progressively challenging roles within GE Energy. John received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and is a Six Sigma certified green belt.
