Dr. Rick Workman, Heartland Dental founder, speaks on goals for New Year

Effingham, IL (PRWEB) April 14, 2016

Coming off a successful 2015, Heartland Dental, LLC, the largest dental support organization in the country, is focusing again on maximizing value for supported dentists, through focusing on the right systems, advancing support teams and further spreading the culture of the company.

"This past year was a great year for Heartland Dental. Increasing our footprint to over 700 supported offices, we affiliated with 54 dental offices and supported the opening of 53 new De Novo offices. We have started 2016 off on the right foot as well," explained Rick Workman, DMD, Heartland Dental founder and active executive chairman. "Looking forward to the rest of the year, it's all about creating value for our supported dentists and showcasing that value to the rest of the industry."

In 2016, Heartland Dental seeks to support many challenges modern dentists are facing, including changes in regulation, marketing their offices to modern patients, keeping up with advancing technology, building/leading ideal teams and gaining overall life balance. An important initiative Heartland Dental is supporting in 2016 is the Doctor Mastery Program, which will help dentists become definitive dental leaders in their communities and overcome many of these modern challenges. Upon completion of the five-year program, dentists will achieve a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD, an award held by only seven percent of practicing dentists in the United States) and increase access to care. In addition, participants who complete all program requirements will receive a "mastery bonus" up to $250,000 which can totally or greatly eliminate student loan debt.

"I believe, overall, dentistry can be a lonely profession. Typically, most dentists do not have access to a broad knowledge base to help them further their skills. We have worked to change that by offering world-class education that takes the best practices of other dental and business professionals and spreads that value – creating a cross-sharing of ideas. The Doctor Mastery Program is a perfect example of this commitment to spreading value. It addresses a vital component of the dental industry – continuing education, and offers an ideal solution to one of the biggest challenges facing young dentists – student loan debt," added Dr. Rick Workman. "Supported doctors have responded well to our value creation – we have an 85 percent retention rate over the past few years. Continuing this trend with initiatives such as the Doctor Mastery Program, increasing our footprint across the country, sharing our culture and refining our systems, 2016 is shaping up to be another great year for Heartland Dental."
