NVTC also presented the Chairman's Award to Pete Jobse, president and CEO of the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT). Jobse transformed CIT into a technology consulting and venture investing organization dedicated to accelerating research commercialization, innovation, startup company formation and technology assimilation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. MACH37, the nation's first cybersecurity accelerator, was created under Jobse's leadership and has a portfolio that is reaching $1 billion. During his address, Jobse thanked NVTC for its partnership with CIT, and noted that Northern Virginia has a great future for developing companies in the intellectual property space.
