(PRWEB UK) 30 August 2015

British health food chain shop Holland & Barrett announced that it is opening two online storefronts on Alibaba Group's Tmall.com, China's largest third-party B2C platform for brands and retailers, and Tmall Global, an overseas platform and an extension of Tmall.com for Chinese consumers in China.

The Holland & Barrett Tmall.com and Tmall Global stores will not only provide healthy supplements, but also offer counseling on the healthy lifestyle.

Holland & Barrett has had a presence in the country in July 2012. The Chinese market, on a growing demand of healthy products, has shown great interest in the well-known Holland & Barrett. Among its sales outside the Britain, the century-old brand has the highest transaction in China.

Providing vitamins, supplements and homeopathy, Holland & Barrett seeks collaboration with an e-commerce platform in China. Opening a flagship store on both Tmall.com and Tmall Global is a start on the brand's e-commerce strategies.

According to iResearch, Tmall.com was China's largest third-party platform for brands and retailers in terms of gross merchandise volume in 2014. At present, China contributes 15% profit to the brand's revenue each year.
