The Collier County Building Association's Parade of Homes opens tonight, Jan 30 2015 and runs through Sunday, Feb. 1, and Friday, Feb. 6 through Sunday, Feb. 8.

Hosted by the upscale Quail West community in Naples, FL, the 2015 Parade of Homes will present twenty furnished model residences. Beasley & Henley Interior Design's the “Palmhurst” model is a 2,822-square-foot great room plan, which includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half-baths, study, formal dining room, island kitchen outdoor living area with a pool, spa, fireplace, and summer kitchen.

Principal Designer Troy Beasley created a light, airy interior for the Palmhurst with clean-lined sophistication and a twist of traditional flavor. His design is based on a color palette of soft creams with accents of terra-cotta, gold, and tangerine. To anchor the entire motif, Beasley selected cream travertine stone for the flooring in the main living areas, and a dark stained wood floor in the master suite and dark oak in the study, as pleasing contrasts. The home's light and clean-lined furnishings also feature contrasting elements in dark accents and wood tones.

The outdoor living area, which is important to this community, boasts a corner fireplace and relaxed conversation grouping that includes a sofa and chairs with a cocktail table. A large dining table is located by the outdoor kitchen area and provides a space for casual entertaining. The kitchen features a grill area with a stainless steel hood and granite backsplash, a sink, and under counter refrigerator.
