Incentive program to entice business owners to upgrade equipment
DETROIT, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy will issue a Request for Proposal for a program focused on increasing awareness among business customers to upgrade their facilities with energy-efficient equipment.
The program would offer incentives for businesses to select high-efficiency equipment and controls when making purchasing decisions.
The program would be designed to provide the necessary knowledge and market demand so electrical and mechanical contractors, and their distributors, will let their clients know about the incentives and benefits of high-efficiency equipment. One of the program requirements is that it be simple and easy to understand.
All contractors interested in receiving more information about the RFP should send their contact information, referencing C&I Bundle RFP, to EORFP@dteenergy.com no later than Feb. 9.
