Sinclair Names Elizabeth Worsham General Manager In Columbia-Jefferson City, MO

COLUMBIA, Mo. and JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. SBGI announced that Elizabeth Worsham has been named General Manager of KRCG-TV (CBS) in the Columbia-Jefferson City, MO market.  The announcement was made by Steve Pruett, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair's television group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Pruett said, "Beth has over 20 years of broadcast management experience with a record of increasing market share and successful business development.  In her previous positions, she developed strategic partnerships with local based organizations and launched new programs and initiatives to reach local viewers and the community.  We are excited to have her join the team at KRCG."

Ms. Worsham most recently and since 2011 served as the Director of Sales for WSPA (CBS) and WYCW (CW) in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC-Asheville, NC-Anderson, SC.  From 2004 to 2011, she was the Director of New Business Development / Local Sales Manager at KPNX (NBC) in Phoenix, AZ.  From 2002 to 2004 she served as the General Manager / Director of Sales at Sinclair's WXLV (ABC) and WUPN (now WMYV (MYTV)) in Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem, NC.  Prior to that, she held various positions, including General Sales Manager, at Sinclair's WEAR (ABC) and WFGX (MYTV) in Mobile, AL-Pensacola (Ft. Walton Beach), FL.  Ms. Worsham received a Bachelors degree in Communications, with a concentration in Advertising, from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
