Home Properties New Jersey Apartment Communities Receive Multiple Awards for Excellence

ISELIN, N.J., Dec. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Properties, Inc. HME today announced its New Jersey area apartment communities received multiple awards during the 21^st annual Garden State Awards of Excellence as presented by the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA). Home Properties owns and operates 13 NJAA-member communities totaling over 3,500 apartments in the New Jersey area.

A total of four Home Properties apartment communities were recognized in the category of Excellence in Curb Appeal: Northwood Apartments, Royal Gardens, Pleasant View Gardens, and Pleasure Bay Apartments. In addition, the following individual employees were awarded for excellence: Maintenance Supervisor Onix Lopez (Royal Gardens), Property Manager Sharyn Kilpatrick (Royal Gardens), Property Office Staff Frances Castro (Royal Gardens), and Maintenance Technician Sergio Vizcaino (Pleasant View Gardens). Lastly, a new award, Industry Rookie of the Year, was presented to Christina Gurule (Pleasure Bay Apartments).
