WALLDORF, Germany, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP SE SAP today announced new SAP® Best Practices packages that simplify deployments of SuccessFactors HCM® Suite to further its commitment to simplifying customer journeys into the cloud.

Customers can now accelerate their cloud projects as they take advantage of pre-conceived business scenarios. SAP Best Practices are based on pre-configured content for cloud solutions from SAP, such as solutions from SAP companies SuccessFactors and Ariba or the SAP Cloud for Customer solution. They complement other SAP Best Practices for on-premise solutions both being incorporated into SAP's new learning format, the openSAP platform, and packaged into SAP Rapid Deployment solutions, which simplify the customer experience of deploying new enterprise solutions and onboarding to the cloud with dramatically accelerated time to value at a reduced cost.

Companies are recognizing the high value of cloud solutions for their human resources (HR) processes, and appreciate the scalability and built-in innovations of SuccessFactors solutions. However, many struggle to integrate their existing HR systems with the cloud, require support in on-boarding to the cloud, or in transitioning from on-premise installations into the cloud.

SAP Best Practices and SAP Rapid Deployment solutions help customers transition into the cloud with hybrid integration scenarios to retain the value of prior investments on premise while expanding and innovating in the cloud. They help with new cloud deployments and support data migration to the cloud.

The newly introduced SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Compensation and SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Recruiting in SAP ERP HCM packages have been employed to help customers implement hybrid scenarios quickly, simply and with mitigated risk while SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Employee Central deploys a full cloud scenario.

SAP leveraged its human capital management (HCM) expertise in packaging pre-configured content into SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Compensation. It enables customers to implement compensation management processes in a hybrid HR environment, without disruption. With this hybrid cloud scenario customers can perform monetary and equity compensation planning in the cloud with employee data from their HCM system on premise.

SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Employee Central is specifically packaged for HR business execution in the cloud allowing customers to accelerate deployments of core HR processes.

SAP Best Practices for SuccessFactors Recruiting in SAP ERP HCM helps to extend core capabilities with recruitment processes in SuccessFactors solutions.

"The shift to cloud from on premise continues to progress. Many customers express a need for hybrid scenarios," said Elvira Wallis, senior vice president, Solution and Knowledge Packaging, SAP. "By integrating SuccessFactors HCM Suite, SAP Best Practices and rapid-deployment solutions capabilities, we are able to provide our customers with a flexible set of solutions for their hybrid business processes that is time efficient and easy to use."
