WellCare Health Plans, Inc. WCG today announced that the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has awarded an accreditation status of Accredited to the Medicaid health plan offered by WellCare's Missouri Care Health Plan.

NCQA accreditation evaluates the quality of health care that health plans provide to their members. It is a nationally recognized evaluation that consumers can use to assess health plans. To earn accreditation, NCQA evaluates how well a health plan manages all parts of its delivery system, which covers physicians, hospitals, other providers and administrative services.
