Villa Group Resorts in Cabo Largely Unharmed, Plan to Re-open Early October

Guests Returned Home and Resorts Experienced Minimal Damage

The Villa Group announced today that its Los Cabos properties, including Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas, Villa La Estancia and Villa del Arco, experienced minimal damages in relation to Hurricane Odile, with plans to welcome guests back to the properties by the beginning of October.

As of Sept. 19, all members and guests of the Villa Group's Los Cabos properties have returned home, thanks to a coordinated effort with government authorities.

Hurricane Odile struck Cabo San Lucas the night of September 14, 2014, bringing intense wind, rain and powerful surf conditions. Repairs continue within the region, and some electricity has been restored within pockets of Cabo, though water and electricity through the resorts' generators have been functioning within the Villa Group portfolio.

The cleanup process is underway, and solid progress is being made daily to restore the properties to full operation. The Villa Group is confident it will have all services running at 100 percent with the aim to welcome new guests beginning Wednesday, October, 1, the official date by which full operations are expected to be returned to Los Cabos International Airport, according to the airport.
