ICS Merrill, the Investigative Services Division of EMSI, announces the appointment of Louis Beniamino as the division's executive vice president of Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Compliance. Mr. Beniamino will oversee the successful execution of all SIU operational initiatives for ICS Merrill, as well as play a visible role in new business development and client onboarding. He will be an active member of ICS Merrill's management team, reporting directly to Dave Merrill, ICS Merrill president.

Louis has over 40 years in the investigations business, with both private sector and law enforcement experience. He served the Westchester County Police Department in New York as a Detective Lieutenant for 22 years and has over 19 years of insurance investigations and antifraud compliance experience, which includes ten years as Northeast Regional Fraud Investigations manager at AIG. Most recently, Louis served as executive vice president of SIU Programs for investigative firm GlobalOptions. Previous roles held at GlobalOptions included national SIU Director, SIU Programs business development and SIU anti-fraud compliance coordinator. He has a successful track record of leading SIU operations and partnering with client organizations of all types to deliver quality service and measurable results.

Mr. Beniamino is a retired Brigadier General, serving for 29 years in the United States Army Reserve with the New York National Guard. He holds an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Marist College.
