NIRI-Chicago 2014 Investor Relations Workshop Focuses on Trends, Best Practices Based on Art + Science

The Chicago chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI-Chicago) will hold its annual Investor Relations Workshop on Friday, September 19 at The Metropolitan Club, Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago.

“This year's workshop, ‘The Art + Science of IR,' will balance data, or science, with the art of experience and expert advice in making judgment calls about how companies can best communicate with their investors,” said Terri Anne Powers, IR Workshop co-chair. “We'll have stimulating sessions on topics ranging from market structure to shareholder activism, and distinguished panels that include board members and CFOs.”

The event begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 19 with registration, breakfast and an exhibitor showcase. The formal program begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $175 for NIRI-Chicago members and $250 for non-members.

The fee is $65 for nonmembers who wish to attend the luncheon only from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. There is no fee for NIRI-Chicago members who attend the luncheon only. More information is available on the NIRI-Chicago website and on the event registration page.
