Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Quick Fix Plug, to companies for review.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 29, 2014

If you sometimes get those Christmas light strings placed perfectly on the tree just to find you can't connect them, you'll be pleased with an idea presented by an inventor from Romulus, Mich. It provides a way to make tree decorating a much more pleasant experience.

He developed QUICK FIX PLUG to eliminate the need to redo Christmas light strings arranged so that two female ends are side by side. Ideal for connecting any type of electrical cords, it eliminates the frustration associated with having to rearrange Christmas light strings or other electrical cords once they have been placed. As such, it saves time and effort when using multiple electrical connections. Furthermore, it is convenient, effective, practical and affordably priced. It is also durable to withstand wear and tear. In addition, its small size and simple design make it easy to produce, use and store.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "When I was stringing my Christmas lights, I couldn't connect some of the strings because I ran some in the wrong direction and had two female connections side by side," he said. "I wanted to find a way to connect them."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms 1 office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
