Xinjiang Daqo Qualified as a High and New Technology Enterprise

CHONGQING, China, Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Daqo New Energy Corp. DQ ("Daqo New Energy" or the "Company"), a leading polysilicon manufacturer based in China, today announced that Xinjiang Daqo New Energy Co., Ltd. ("Xinjiang Daqo"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company in China, has successfully qualified for and received the certification of High and New Technology Enterprise in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China for a three-year period from 2014 to 2016. As a High and New Technology Enterprise, Xinjiang Daqo is entitled to enjoy a preferential enterprise income tax rate of 15%, compared to a standard enterprise income tax rate of 25%. The certification of High and New Technology Enterprise can be renewed for additional three-year terms upon Xinjiang Daqo's additional application and the government's approval.
