MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 25, 2014) - Yellow Pages (YP), a leader in digital advertising and marketing solutions, is allowing Montrealers to enjoy street food to the fullest. As of today, thanks to its partnership with Streetfood Quest, Montreal's street food specialist, the YP app enables users to find information on all of the city's food trucks and their location in real time.

Offered exclusively to users in the Greater Montreal Area, the YP app's new function makes it possible to quickly locate nearby food trucks and offers a complete list of mobile restaurants. This one-of-a-kind app displays food trucks' business hours and allows users to find out at a glance which are open or closed thanks to different coloured location markers. It is also possible to obtain a brief description of the type of menu by clicking on each marker.

To provide app users with the most accurate and up-to-date information, Yellow Pages has established a two-way partnership with Streetfood Quest. In addition to integrating food trucks to its platforms, Yellow Pages supports their web application development efforts, as well as Montreal's street food entrepreneurs. Thanks to this partnership, the YP app will become the most comprehensive mobile platform for information on food trucks.

"Above all, Yellow Pages wishes to meet locals' needs and offer a research experience adapted to each Canadian market," says Matthieu Houle, Vice President, Digital Media at Yellow Pages. "With street food's increasing popularity, we found it was crucial to offer users the possibility of locating their favourite food truck at any time. We are just beginning the experience in Montreal, and we intend to extend coverage of these geo-localized maps to other large Canadian cities later on."

According to Nicolas Cloutier, co-founder of Streetfood Quest, "Montreal offers unique and colourful street food. Collaborating with Yellow Pages is a great opportunity to promote local street food and support the local business owners behind the movement. This partnership supports this mission to connect consumers and small businesses while helping the street food business grow even more."

The latest update of the YP app can now be downloaded for free via yp.ca. It bears noting that the YP app is available for all mobile platforms and is ranked among the top local search applications in Canada. It offers a wonderful research experience and continues to evolve to meet users' needs like never before.
