TINLEY PARK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Chamberlain College of Nursing announced the appointment of Patricia Byrnes Martin, DNP, MSN, RN, as president of its Tinley Park, Illinois, campus effective immediately. Dr. Martin comes to Chamberlain with more than 35 years of clinical, academic and leadership experience. “With her deep understanding of executive management and academia, Dr. Martin embodies a leadership style that is an excellent fit with our culture of extraordinary student and colleague care,” said Susan Groenwald, PhD, MSN, RN, national president of Chamberlain College of Nursing. “As she leads the Tinley Park campus, she will be an invaluable resource to students and faculty by providing the support necessary to continue Chamberlain's legacy of excellence in nursing education.”

She earned Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Governors State University.

“Chamberlain prepares extraordinary nurses to deliver the highest level of care in a changing healthcare landscape and provides superior nursing education through student-focused support and academic options,” Dr. Martin said. “I look forward to continuing this strong tradition of supporting the future nurses who will improve patient care in our communities.”
