Optimum WiFi, which is included at no additional charge for Optimum Online customers, now offers fast, reliable, and unlimited wireless internet access at more locations than ever before, providing a convenient alternative to pricey, capped cellular data plans.

Optimum WiFi's expansion to one million hotspots comes as data usage on mobile devices continues to rise - according to a recent report from Cisco, mobile data traffic in the U.S. grew by 75 percent in 2013 and is expected to grow eight-fold by 2018. Today, Optimum WiFi hosts more than 250 million sessions every month, with customers averaging 4GB of data per month, which exceeds the data limits of many common cellular data plans.
