Steven B. Tanger Named EY 2014 Regional Entrepreneur of the Year

GREENSBORO, N.C., June 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven B. Tanger, President & CEO of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. SKT, has been named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ in the Hospitality and Retail category for the Southeast Region, which includes Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Mr. Tanger was selected by an independent panel of judges made up of previous award recipients, leading CEOs and other regional business leaders. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Awards for the Southeast were presented at a gala event at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, GA, on June 26.
