Jacobs Gaining Traction in Telecommunications Industry

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. JEC announced that it is seeing significant activity in the telecommunications sector. Since January 2014, Jacobs has been selected for new work with a number of major U.S. wireless carriers, tower companies, and public sector agencies representing contract values totaling over $80 million.

Jacobs' scope of work under the terms of these contracts includes self-perform turnkey field construction work; operations and maintenance support; wireless network deployment/emergency management support for four public agencies; and expanded site acquisition and engineering support.
