BOSTON, May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- STAG Industrial, Inc. (the "Company") STAG, a company focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of single-tenant industrial properties throughout the United States, announced today the appointment of Geoffrey Jervis as STAG's Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2014.

Mr. Jervis most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Blackstone Group's real estate debt business as well as of Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. BXMT. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Jervis was Chief Financial Officer of BXMT's predecessor, Capital Trust Inc., a publicly traded mortgage REIT. Mr. Jervis is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received an honors MBA from Columbia Business School. In his role as Chief Financial Officer at STAG, Mr. Jervis will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting, capital markets, credit, investor relations, and treasury.
