Lumber Liquidators Helps Support Habitat For Humanity

TOANO, Va., May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lumber Liquidators LL, the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America, has helped create safe and affordable homes in partnership with local families through its ongoing support of Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Lumber Liquidators has donated more than $280,000 of flooring and tools in recent years to help Habitat for Humanity affiliates sustain their mission.

Lumber Liquidators' latest support included donating a large selection of tools to the Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg affiliate. The tools will be used to build new homes as well as rehabilitate existing homes in partnership with low-income families in Hampton, James City County and Newport News, Va. The affiliate is on schedule to build nine new homes and rehabilitate four in the local community in 2014 alone.
