New look and logos herald in a new era of ‘Commitment You Can Count On' and commemorate The Provident Bank's 175th anniversary

Iselin, NJ (PRWEB) January 30, 2014

The Provident Bank, the oldest community bank operating exclusively in New Jersey, and The Provident Bank Foundation, which supports organizations dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the New Jersey communities served by The Provident Bank, have announced a redesign of their websites, located at http://www.providentnj.com and http://www.providentnjfoundation.org, respectively. The changes reflect a new look and logo that were developed to celebrate The Provident Bank's 175th anniversary and herald in a new era of “Commitment You Can Count On.”

“We're still the same Provident Bank our customers know and love…committed to helping New Jersey's families and businesses grow and prosper,” said Chris Martin, Chairman, President and CEO of The Provident Bank and President of The Provident Bank Foundation. “And while we are extremely proud of our heritage, we wanted to create a new look that is in step with our exciting, new and enhanced products and services and our fresh approach to meeting customer needs.”

The new logo retains the beehive theme, which represents The Provident Bank's commitment to strength and partnership, while updating the color, shape and text font to reflect a modern look more representative of the 21st century.

The updated Bank and Foundation websites will go live on January 27, 2014. Customers will also begin seeing the new logo and color scheme in branches, signage, advertising and other communications in February.
