Sigma-Aldrich Signs Agreement with Goodfellow Cambridge, Ltd., to Distribute Metals, Alloys and Ceramics to Researchers Worldwide

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sigma-Aldrich Corporation SIAL, a leading Life Science and High Technology Company, today announced the signing of an agreement with Goodfellow Cambridge, Ltd., a leading international supplier of metals and materials for research and industry, to market and distribute Goodfellow's portfolio of materials which includes metals, alloys and ceramics.  The agreement expands the availability of Goodfellow's products to new regions worldwide through the Aldrich^® Materials Science initiative.

Under the agreement, Sigma-Aldrich will immediately begin distribution of more than 10,000 Goodfellow products, many of which are exclusive to Goodfellow. The offer will expand to include Goodfellow's entire portfolio of 70,000 products within the coming months.  Applications of the materials include medical devices, advanced electronics, electromagnetic shielding, x-ray technology, alternative energy and many other scientific and industrial areas.
