BEIJING, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. ("Xinyuan" or "the Company") XIN, a residential real estate developer with primary focus on high growth cities in China, today announced the results of its 2013 Annual General Meeting held on December 4, 2013 in Beijing, China.

At the meeting, the Company's shareholders ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young Hua Ming as the independent registered public accounting firm for the Company for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013. The Company's shareholders also approved the increase in the limit of the number of directors on the Board of Directors from nine to 11.
