CORRECTING and REPLACING: Assurant Board of Directors Declares Quarterly Dividend of $.25 per Common Share

In a news release issued under the same headline on Nov. 15, 2013 by Assurant, Inc. AIZ, the date for stockholders of record now is reset to Dec. 2, 2013 from Nov. 25, 2013. The Dec. 10, 2013 payment date remains the same. The revised news release follows:

Assurant, Inc. The dividend will be payable on Dec. 10, 2013 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 2, 2013.

Future dividend declarations will be made at the discretion of the Assurant Board of Directors and will be based on the company's earnings, financial condition, cash requirements, future prospects and other factors.
