Jacob Latimore to Lead Star Studded Kenedi Treasure School Supply Drive & Summer Splash Pool Party

Jacob Latimore is leading an allstar cast of teen talent who plan to turn up the summer heat when Kenedi Treausure's Celebrity Teen Pool Party makes a splash at the Roswell Area Park Pool on July 27, 2013 from 6pm to 10pm.

The event is being dubbed as the last major celebrity teen event before school gets back session for good reason – the roster includes Kenedi and Treasure Bishop, the sisters behind the Kenedi Treasure brand of cosmetics and celebrity teen events, activist and Al Sharpton National Action Network Youth Director Marypat Hector, recording artists Torion Sellers, Alix Lapri, QT Jazz and Issa, plus actor/host T-Rep and Ajiona Alexus from the Ricky Smiley Show. Guest performers will be Mishon, and Jacksonville, Florida's, Spitta Haze with teens DJ Key and DJ Priest holding down the music.

Kenedi and Treasure officially confirmed that they will reduce ticket prices at the gate to those who bring school supplies because of their partnership with Mary Pat Hector.

Community outreach is nothing new for the Bishops as they spend a lot of their time collecting items for the children who they encounter through their program K.I.T.E (Konnecting the Incarcerated Through Excellence).

"Mary Pat is certainly someone we admire because she is so selfless with her work with Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network," said Treasure, 17. "She's younger than we are but works so hard in so many high profile causes to raise awareness and make changes. With our K.I.T.E program, we are already used to working with kids who have at least one parent in jail and through Mary Pat, we are working to reach out to even more kids. We are going to have some fun in the sun but we want to splash for a good cause."

"We are fortunate enough to be in a position to inspire our peers," added Kenedi, 16. "So we decided that instead of just using our Celebrity Teen Pool Party as a fun event, we would invite attendees to help out for a good cause. This one is going to be the biggest event we've hosted so far and we're real excited to see everyone come out and enjoy what's left of summer."
