MILTON, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

NG Advantage LLCTM trailers will begin delivering compressed natural gas (CNG) through its “virtual pipeline” to FiberMark's Brattleboro, VT plant and Erving Paper Mills in Erving, MA by mid-2013. Converting to natural gas will save these two new manufacturing customers - who are not located on a gas pipeline - millions of dollars. On an annual basis, they will also reduce emissions by 24 million pounds of CO2, 925,000 pounds of sulfur dioxide, 30,000 pounds of nitrous oxides, and virtually all particulates.

FiberMark is a world-class fully integrated manufacturer and global distributor crafting its fiber-based specialty materials in the U.S. and U.K. The company's “Naturally Creative” tagline links FiberMark's materials to the natural world, where they find inspiration for textures and colors, and is a key element of the company's philosophy, underscoring its deep, ironclad commitment to preserving the environment. Bob Murphy, Director of Engineering for FiberMark North America, Inc., commented, “We continually work towards reengineering our manufacturing processes to implement cutting-edge conservation strategies. Converting from the use of fuel oil to cleaner natural gas is an important part of our commitment.”

Erving Paper Mills produces paper for the food industry, such as napkins. They use 100% waste (recycled) paper in creating their products. The company President and CEO Morris Housen explained, “We are currently using #6 fuel oil and with our conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) we will be able to level the playing field and stay competitive in the marketplace. We will also be able to further our company's mission of reducing its carbon footprint, not only in our raw material but in our use of a much cleaner fuel. Our manufacturing plant will be omitting 26% less CO2 and that is big.”

“NG Advantage is proud to serve leading companies like FiberMark and Erving Paper Mills and to provide them with the tremendous economic and environmental benefits of natural gas,” said Neale Lunderville, CEO of NG Advantage. “These companies are not located on a natural gas pipeline. From our Milton, VT compressor station, we use specialized composite trailers to deliver CNG to these facilities, where each customer will see energy cost savings of more than 30% compared to last year's fuel bills.”
