The private hearing healthcare specialists at Hidden Hearing have announced that their new Cardiff centre is based in the former home of British entertainer, Ivor Novello.

The three story period property at 11 Cathedral Road is the new home of Hidden Hearing's Hearing Centre in Cardiff, after being recently sold and refurbished.

Novello House was lived in by British actor and composer, Ivor Novello, as a child after his mother sought out a bigger property to store her pianos.

Born January 15 1893, Novello was one of the most popular British entertainers of the early 20th Century. Writing and composing many successful songs as well as starring in two silent films directed by Alfred Hitchcock in the twenties.

Novello is thought to have composed the famous song, Keep the Home Fires Burning, while living at the house.
