Coherix Inc., a pioneer in the development of 3D machine-vision technology, named Neil Barlow President of Coherix, Inc. Automotive Business

Coherix Inc., a pioneer in the development of 3D machine-vision technology announced the hiring of Neil Barlow as President of Coherix, Inc. Automotive Business. Neil was an original founder of the company in 2003. Neil has global automotive business responsibilities, including the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Coherix Europe AB.

In his new role, Barlow is managing the overall Automotive Business and has regional responsibility for North/South America and Europe. "Neil has delivered outstanding performance in the 3D vision business for more than 20 years. There is a lot of synergy between Neil and myself, having worked together for most of those 20 years," says Dwight Carlson, the company's chairman and CEO.

Barlow has been in the field of hi-tech engineering and business management/development for 35 years. Specifically, he was a founder of Perceptron, Inc. in the USA where he played an integral role in establishing the company. Barlow served as Managing Director of Perceptron in Europe, where he was responsible for all of the firm's international business activities. After Perceptron had a successful IPO, Neil served as the Chief Operating Officer. Contributing greatly to international growth, Barlow also set up operations in Korea and Japan. Following his time at Perceptron, he was the CEO of FAST Technology AG, based in Munich, Germany.

In the past ten years Barlow has pursued a variety of ventures. One of Barlow's greatest passions is music and he is the conductor for Five Lakes Silver Band – an award winning organization that focuses on the traditions of British brass bands.
